Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation quality and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to meet sanitation standards
• Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements
• Support team members in maintaining a smooth workflow during busy hours, including nightclubs or other entertainment settings

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightlife exposure
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding menu components and food prep needs
• Excellent communication skills and basic math proficiency for accurate order entry and bill processing
• Previous host/hostess or nightclub serving experience is beneficial but not required
