Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for food and beverages using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations, ensuring timely service and attentive customer care.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments with POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all areas of service, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with food preparation, catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as needed to support the team’s operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, ensure proper food delivery times, and uphold quality standards.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities during busy shifts.
- Engage with guests to promote sales opportunities while providing outstanding customer service.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Prior experience in fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in a hospitality setting; knowledge of brewing is a plus.
- Familiarity with catering operations and food industry standards to support diverse service needs.
