Server/Waiter/Waitress

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by delivering food and beverages with professionalism and efficiency. You will be expected to know our menu in order to give exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Move quickly and efficiently throughout the patio and dining room.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
• Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help guests have an enjoyable experience.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus, along with an understanding of sales techniques such as upselling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
