Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Automobile Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the communication link between customers and the workshop team, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, understand their service requirements, and create job cards accurately.
- Inspect vehicles with customers and explain required repairs, service packages, and maintenance recommendations.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely diagnosis and completion of service jobs.
- Communicate service progress, repair updates, and cost estimates to customers.
- Upsell value-added services, maintenance packages, and accessories.
- Ensure proper documentation of service history, customer complaints, and repair records.
- Conduct post-service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of automotive systems, warranty policies, and service procedures.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure quick resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to workshop safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicles, diagnostics, and service operations.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in preparing job cards, estimates, and service reports.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, service management systems).
