Service Assistant

​Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a Service Assistant to join our team at our Brighton branch, located at 1183 S Old US Highway 23, Brighton, MI 48116-1604. This team member will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, and will work 40 hours a week.
Compensation starts from $21-26/hour, depending on experience.

Morrison Industrial Equipment has a strict drug-free policy, and all employees will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, background and driving record check. Employees are also subject to random drug screenings.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.
• Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.
• Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.
• Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling.
• Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.
• Processing of warranty claims.
• Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude.
• Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.
• Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Additional duties, as assigned.

• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
