This role requires that you are willing to work both service bartender shifts and serving shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve drink and food orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery using POS systems such as FOCUS or TOAST.
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Assist with hosting duties, including managing waitlist and coordinating guest flow during peak hours.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their dining and drinking experience, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently.
• Assist with stocking and cleaning throughout your shift.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, proactively addressing requests or concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, including checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like FOCUS POS or TOAST POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, with knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to perform retail math for cash handling and sales transactions accurately.

Skills

• Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
