Job Title: Service Coordinator – Marine Automation

Position Overview
We are seeking a business- and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our Automation Division. Reporting directly to the Division Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all service operations, while maintaining strong collaboration between departments and delivering exceptional support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all service operations including planning, scheduling, execution, and follow-up of service jobs in close coordination with the Service Manager and other internal teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding all service-related matters—handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and timely responses.
- Support service engineers through detailed job briefings and debriefings, ensuring that all documentation, reports, and records are accurately prepared and maintained.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure smooth execution of service-related contracts and the integration of service works within ongoing projects.
- Monitor service performance by tracking manpower utilization, job costs, and invoicing to ensure that KPIs and project targets are achieved.
- Oversee spare parts and inventory requirements, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and prevent operational delays.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Experience in the Maritime, Offshore, or Automation service industry will be an advantage.
- Experience: Proven background in service coordination, job execution, and cross-functional collaboration, ideally within an international or project-based environment.
- Additional Consideration: Candidates with prior experience in Marine Procurement and Purchase departments are also encouraged to apply.
- Customer & Business Orientation: Strong customer service mindset with a solution-driven and commercially aware approach.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a hands-on, practical attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
