Service Crew Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about menu items.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking back and providing additional assistance.
Food & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare food items according to company recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Assemble orders quickly and accurately.
- Prepare beverages such as coffee, tea, juices, or specialty drinks (if applicable).
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Point of Sale (POS) Operations
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and issue receipts.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly and maintain proper cash control.
- Upsell or suggest additional items to increase sales.
Store Cleanliness & Maintenance
- Clean dining areas, counters, tables, and trays regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, food prep areas, and restrooms.
- Dispose of trash and ensure proper waste management.
- Refill supplies such as condiments, utensils, and napkins.
Teamwork & Coordination
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist co-workers during busy hours or when additional help is needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff for order accuracy and speed.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Restock ingredients, packaging, and other supplies as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors when items are running low.
- Follow proper rotation methods (FIFO—First In, First Out).
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Use equipment safely and report any malfunctions or hazards.
