Service Delivery - Database Administrator

Our client is Hiring: Service Delivery – Database Administrator (DBA)


Are you an experienced Database Administrator passionate about managing complex database environments, cloud platforms, and enterprise-level solutions? We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our Information Technology Services – Service Operations & Delivery team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, administer, and optimize client database environments ensuring high availability, security, and performance

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems

• Perform database backup, recovery, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities

• Manage databases across multiple platforms including OCI, Azure, On-Premises, and ExaCC environments

• Monitor database performance and resolve operational issues proactively

• Support database migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure changes

• Plan database storage requirements and implement data protection processes

• Collaborate with Solution Architects on database designs, deployments, documentation, and procedures

• Maintain accurate database configuration details through CMDB and operational documentation

• Support Change and Release Management processes


Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

4–5 years of experience in Database Administration or similar IT roles


Hands-on experience with:

• Oracle Database

• Microsoft SQL Server

• MySQL

• RDBMS & ATP environments

• Database backup, recovery, tuning, and administration


Technical Skills:

✔ Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration

✔ Azure database/server administration

✔ OCI IAM, access policies, authentication, and compute management

✔ Windows Server & Microsoft Clustering Services

✔ Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

✔ Linux clustering technologies

✔ Enterprise managed service environments
