Service Dispatcher

Job Overview

Ensures technicians are supported and equipped in the field by maintaining effective communication with the technician team and Desert Booth leadership. Ensuring adequate coverage is available and scheduled to provide a superior service to the customer. Schedules resources relating to daily operations to support the customer and technicians under limited supervision.

• Detailed work order entry and organization, including MSO dispatch platforms
• Ability to organize and schedule on multiple digital platforms
• Identify appropriate technician to schedule work to maximize productivity and still provide prompt and effective service to our customers
• Answer incoming calls and act as a liaison to our customers; must be very personable with a warm, professional telephone demeanor
• Informative liaison between, customer and Desert Booth Service Team members
• Assists in equipment and part orders from external vendors
• Assists Operations Manager with part inventory
• Reviews work orders for completeness
• Finalize completed work order and ensure it has been appropriately completed for customer invoicing
• Plan and follow through with additional requests on existing jobs
• Assist technician and maintenance teams as needed
• Assists Desert Booth Service Leadership with various task
• Ability to foresee the needs of upcoming jobs, including but not limited to equipment rentals, forms, photo and additional tools or hardware
• Builds trust with others by following through on commitments
• Must establish and maintain effective professional relationships
• Conducts oneself ethically in personal and business interactions
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to multi-task using multiple software programs simultaneously

• Previous service dispatching experience
• Must possess a valid Arizona Driver’s License and personal transportation
• Ability to perform trade-related duties in a safe, professional manner
• Must be a self-starter, work alone when necessary, and self-coordinate workload using established priorities
• Must be coachable and able to follow detailed verbal and written instructions

Other Physical Demands:

While preforming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and carry up to 65 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

While performing the duties in the field and warehouse, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
