Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Automotive Dispatcher to join our Service Department. The Dispatcher is responsible for efficiently assigning repair orders to technicians based on skill level, workload, and shop capacity while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispatch repair orders to technicians according to their skill level and availability.
• Monitor technician productivity and efficiency throughout the day.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure timely completion of customer vehicles.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Department, and Management.
• Prioritize work based on customer needs, appointment schedules, and vehicle status.
• Track and update repair order progress.
• Maintain balanced workloads among technicians.
• Assist in identifying and resolving workflow bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
• Support service department goals for productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Support team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties may be assigned by management.
• Maintain flexibility to perform other jobs- related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Dispatcher, Shop Foreman, or Service Advisor preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and dealership operations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with dealership management systems ( Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay

$35.00 – $45.00 per hour (DOE)
