Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Residential Service Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks within residential settings. Your expertise will help ensure safe, reliable electrical systems for our valued customers while providing excellent service and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential properties using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Install, repair, and upgrade electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage wiring
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately complete projects
• Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to ensure proper system function
• Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for all installations and repairs
• Perform renovation work on existing electrical systems during remodeling projects
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years experience
• Able to work independently on jobs
• Proven experience as a residential electrician or similar role with construction site experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and NEC standards
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
• Experience with renovation projects and framing carpentry is advantageous
• Handyman experience or construction background preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
