We are seeking a Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment used in electronics vacuum assembly. The role requires strong technical expertise in vacuum systems, electronic/electro-mechanical assemblies, and customer support. The Service Engineer will ensure optimal performance of equipment, minimize downtime, and provide high-quality technical service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission vacuum-based electronic assembly systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose technical issues in vacuum pumps, chambers, and electronic control systems, and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
- Provide technical support and hands-on training to operators and clients on equipment use, safety, and best practices.
- Monitor system performance, calibrate instruments, and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation for client records.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and cleanroom protocols during service activities.
- Assist in spare parts planning, inventory, and after-sales technical support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support long-term service partnerships.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in servicing electronics, vacuum systems, or precision assembly equipment (freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered).
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with vacuum pumps, chambers, gauges, and electronic assemblies.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting electronic/electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and measuring instruments.
- Understanding of cleanroom and ESD safety requirements.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel for on-site service support.

- Electronics manufacturing and vacuum assembly unit environment.
- Requires strict adherence to safety protocols, ESD protection, and cleanroom procedures.
- Field visits and customer site support are part of regular duties.
