Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in servicing wide-format digital printers and a solid understanding of printer mechanics, electronics, and software. You will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of digital printing machines, along with customer training and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and calibrate wide-format digital printers at client sites.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electronic, and software issues in digital printers.

Perform preventive maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.

Manage service calls efficiently and maintain detailed service reports.

Assist in refurbishing used printers (e.g., Mimaki, Roland, Epson) for resale.

Conduct testing and quality checks on refurbished and new machines.

Provide training to customers on printer usage, maintenance, and software operations.

Support the sales team with technical insights and pre-sales consultations when required.

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging printer technologies.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in digital printer servicing.

Strong knowledge of wide-format printers such as Mimaki, Roland, Epson, Kingjet, MTuTech, or similar.

Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.

Experience with RIP software (e.g., RasterLink, FlexiSign, Wasatch) is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of printer firmware updates and calibration procedures.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Relevant certifications in digital printer servicing will be a plus.
