Service Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure all medical devices function safely and efficiently, supporting hospital staff and healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair a range of medical equipment, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and imaging devices.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and biomedical teams to provide technical support and equipment training.
• Maintain accurate service reports, equipment logs, and documentation for all service activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts, technical updates, and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Service Engineer, preferably in the medical or healthcare equipment sector.
• Strong knowledge of medical devices, instrumentation, and healthcare technologies.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment.
• Good understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with medical staff professionally.
• Willingness to travel to different healthcare facilities as required.

Working Conditions:

• May require on-call service and after-hours support.
• Work involves visiting hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
