Job Title: Service Engineer – Foundry Operations

Job Summary

We are hiring a technically skilled Service Engineer with hands-on experience in the foundry or steel industry. The role involves servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining foundry equipment and electrical systems to ensure smooth plant operations. Preference will be given to local candidates from Coimbatore who are fluent in Tamil.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical service support for foundry machinery and electrical systems.
• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and operational faults efficiently.
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
• Support process improvements and equipment performance optimization.
• Train operators on basic machine and electrical handling procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems used in foundry operations.
• Understanding of control panels, motors, drives, PLC basics, and industrial wiring.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with industrial safety protocols.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in foundry or steel industry service/maintenance roles.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a local candidate from Coimbatore or willing to relocate immediately.
• Tamil speaking is mandatory.
• Willing to travel for site support if required.
• Must be residing inTamil Nadu
