Job Summary
We are looking for a technically strong Service Engineer with experience in analytical instruments and exposure to pharmaceutical production facilities. The ideal candidate should be proactive, technically sound, and capable of handling field service activities with good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibration of field analytical instruments such as NVPC, LPC, GIT, FIT, etc.
- On-site installation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown service.
- Support senior service engineers in projects and commissioning activities.
- Travel across Vadodara for service calls at various pharmaceutical customer sites.
- Prepare service reports, coordinate with the service team, and follow documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in:
- Electronics
- Instrumentation
- Electrical
- ECE
- Control & Instrumentation
- 1–5 years of experience in instrument servicing or calibration (preferred in pharma).
Skills Required
- Strong technical knowledge of analytical/field instruments (NVPC, LPC, GIT, FIT, etc.).
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing guidelines and regulations.
- Good communication skills and customer-handling ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to learn instrument working principles quickly.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Independently performing NVPC calibrations within 3 months.
- Independently performing VPC calibrations within 3 months.
- Understanding the working principles of all company instruments within 3 months.
- Compliance with pharma industry guidelines and procedures.
Working Conditions
- Regular travel within 100 km (by bus, train, or bike) for onsite service.
- Travelling with calibration kit/equipment when required.
- Flexibility to work during late hours or holidays based on service requirements or critical breakdowns.
