Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults in power generation and distribution systems, including generators, switchboards, circuit breakers (ACBs, VCBs), and transformers.
  • System Maintenance and Repair: Perform planned maintenance, corrective repairs, and overhauls on electrical equipment, motors (AC/DC), and control panels.
  • Control Systems: Work with and troubleshoot a variety of control systems, including engine governors (e.g., Woodward, Heinzmann), automation systems, and alarm/monitoring systems.
  • On-site Services: Travel to client sites, including onboard vessels and in industrial facilities, to perform hands-on service work. This often requires working in challenging conditions and on tight deadlines.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed service reports, outlining the work performed, technical findings, and recommendations for future maintenance. Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company, client, and industry safety protocols, especially when working with high-voltage (HV) systems. Ensure all work complies with the regulations of classification societies and international standards.
