In this hands-on role, you will deliver high-quality field service operations—including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and modernization of industrial refrigeration systems at customer sites.
You will play a vital part in ensuring technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and the long-term reliability of our installed systems.
Responsibilities / Tasks

Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems at customer sites, following product manuals and technical documentation.

Demonstrate deep expertise in spare part identification and selection, supporting customers with accurate parts lists to ensure operational continuity.

Guide and train customer personnel to ensure system performance, efficiency, and safety.

Take preventive measures and provide proactive technical recommendations to minimize unplanned downtimes and production losses.

Provide technical support to customers, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

Prepare detailed service reports and document technical findings in line with internal standards and compliance requirements.

Collaborate closely with the Service Planner and Service Sales Team to meet customer expectations.

Ensure strict adherence to GEA’s safety, quality, and compliance standards during all on-site activities.
Your Profile / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Vocational Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial refrigeration is mandatory.

Experience working with Ammonia and CO₂ systems.

Strong understanding of manuals and technical documentation.

Competent in troubleshooting medium-level controls issues (PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, servo components).

Excellent customer communication, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills.

High sense of responsibility, discipline, and ownership.

Proficient in English and Turkish.

Familiarity with safety standards and risk assessments for industrial environments.

Willingness to travel extensively within Turkey and abroad (CIS/STAN countries)
