Production & Equipment Engineer

The Production Equipment Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated mixing, dosing, cutting and material supply systems within a hand driven manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, production efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Description

• Design, assemble, and provide technical support for automated dosing and material supply systems in collaboration with external equipment providers.
• Operate and monitor mixing and dosing equipment for multi-component materials.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and service activities on process equipment.
• Ensure production processes consistently meet defined quality and performance specifications.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to equipment malfunctions or process deviations.
• Document all maintenance, repair, and service activities.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and ensure timely execution.
• Manage spare parts inventory specific to dosing and mixing equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process flows, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.

Profile

• Completed technical education or degree in process & production engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a minimum 5 Years of professional experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with automated mixing and dosing systems , preferably in multi-material environments.
• Practical knowledge of resin, paint, adhesive, or multi-component material handling is a strong advantage.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Effective team player with solid communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in multi-shift operations.
• Familiarity with occupational safety practices and production regulations .
• Understanding of material science, especially multi-component materials and their processing behavior.
• Experience working with external equipment suppliers and spare parts manufacturers .
• Solid understanding of dosing pumps, vacuum systems, and related auxiliary equipment .
