Service Engineer/Site Engineer

Area of Experience : Handling of Generator Project/Maintenance works

Job Description

1. Plan, execute, and monitor Generator projects from kickoff to final handover.

2. Coordinate installation, alignment, fuel system, exhaust, electrical, and control integration works.

3. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

4. Supervise subcontractors, technicians, and vendors at site.

5. Prepare and submit method statements, inspection requests, and as-built documents.

6. Maintain project records, progress reports, and daily site reports.

7. Support invoice, variation, and completion documentation.

8. Support sales and service teams with technical inputs when required.

9. Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).

10. Support commissioning, load testing, and performance verification.

Competency Skills

1. Review and interpret Generator, ATS, synchronizing panel, and load bank drawings.

2. Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal departments.

3. Attend technical and coordination meetings, prepare MOMs and action trackers.

4. Coordinate logistics, site access, gate passes, and material deliveries.

5. Ensure adherence to HSE requirements, risk assessments, and lifting plans.

6. Coordinate with client HSE teams during site activities.

7. Ensure work permits, toolbox talks, and safety documentation are in place.

8. Strong project coordination and site management skills.

9. Good understanding of Generator systems and power distribution.

10. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

11. Good communication and reporting skills.

12. Proficiency in MS Office and basic project planning tools.

Pay: BD350.000 - BD500.000 per month
