📌 Position Overview

The Site Manager will lead Goldwind’s on-site operations at the Ras Ghareb Wind Farm, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of daily O&M activities. This role requires strong technical experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, especially the wind farm owner (Client).

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1. On-site Operations & Emergency Response

• Organize and oversee daily maintenance activities at the wind farm.
• Respond quickly to unexpected turbine failures to secure maximum power generation.
• Ensure the continuous reliability and availability of turbine assets.
• Must have sufficient knowledge of SCADA system and data analysis.

2. Records & Reporting Management

• Maintain complete and accurate operation and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare reports on performance, maintenance, and spare parts consumption.
• Ensure full data traceability and compliance with Goldwind standards.

3. Client Communication & Coordination

• Serve as the primary communication interface with the wind farm owner (Client).
• Respond promptly to client needs, concerns, and requests.
• Maintain strong client relationships and enhance satisfaction levels.

4. Team Leadership & Management

• Lead the on-site O&M team, ensuring clear work allocation and performance oversight.
• Conduct ongoing skills development, safety training, and competency enhancement.
• Evaluate team performance and ensure alignment with Goldwind policies.

5. Project Planning & Continuous Optimization

• Prepare resource plans including manpower, tools, and spare parts based on site needs.
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose optimization strategies.
• Support operational efficiency and cost control initiatives.

6. Quality Assurance & Safety Management

• Enforce technical standards, operating procedures, and engineering requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations and internal safety policies.
• Lead safety meetings and reinforce a “zero-incident” safety culture.

🔍 Key Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics , or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the wind energy industry.
• Proven experience in wind farm site management , O&M supervision, or field leadership roles.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of wind turbine systems, O&M procedures, and fault response.
• Experience with maintenance planning, reporting systems, and operational tools.

Physical & Personal Requirements

• Physically fit with no acrophobia (ability to work at heights).
• Willingness to travel long-term or be based on-site at Ras Ghareb.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly, and make sound decisions.
