We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our growing team at Valleysoft. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that streamline IT processes and enhance the overall efficiency of our clients. You will work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and solutions based on client requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for new service management processes.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow instances to meet business needs.
  • Develop scripts, workflows, and integration components within ServiceNow to optimize functionality.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades for ServiceNow instances.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on ServiceNow functionalities.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and processes.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow features and enhancements to continuously improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work under tight deadlines.
