About the Role

U.S. Materials Handling is seeking a skilled Service Supervisor to lead our Syracuse-based field service team. In this role, you will oversee day‑to‑day technician scheduling, support customer needs, and ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the service department. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader with experience in equipment service or materials handling operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field technician schedules, including installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, incidental work, and emergency service calls
• Serve as the primary customer contact before, during, and after service calls, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
• Manage work order processing and provide full billing support, including invoicing, contract billing, warranty billing, and customer communication
• Maintain operational readiness for shop areas, service vehicles, equipment, and technician tooling
• Provide clear communication, leadership, and support to field service technicians to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and industry-related service software
• Experience supervising a team in a fast‑paced service environment
• Background in materials handling, equipment service, or related technical operations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
