Mallory Safety and Supply is hiring a Service Technician to join our Service team!

Here we grow again! Mallory continues to grow by 15-18% year after year. Due to this, we are looking to welcome a new Service Technician to help support our Service team. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for individuals interested in building a career and being part of an amazing team. Although the day-to-day tasks may vary, your overall objective as a Service Technician will be to meet the needs of our customers by assembling and repairing life saving devices! Our ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, possesses creative problem-solving skills, a desire to be part of something greater and navigates through challenges with a growth mindset. Dependent on performance, this role can offer overtime, travel opportunities and career development.

Our Service Technician position operates locally in the Modesto area and the role is a dynamic one! This position involves mechanical knowledge, client relations and operations onsite. You will be acting as a representative of Mallory on our client site ensuring the highest safety standards, so employees can stay safe on the job day in and day out! This is great for someone who likes working with their hands, working independently, and working in an industrial setting!

Here is how you can make an impact as a Service Technician:

  • Assemble, service and repair life saving industrial equipment

  • Act as a representative of Mallory and provide excellent customer service to our clients

  • Complete ongoing internal and external training

  • Assist with visits to client locations in the local Modesto area

  • Collaborate with the team on various service projects

Here’s is what we are looking for in a Service Technician:

  • Valid drivers license with at least two years of driving experience and a driving record that aligns with our Safe Driver policy is required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude required

  • Previous experience with safety or industrial equipment preferred

  • Minimum two year commitment!

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as well as bend, reach, twist and walk throughout the day

  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to travel out of state occasionally for continued trainings.

  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering results

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with technology and various software, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to read and write in English
