Our manufacturing division in Winchester, VA manufactures high-end grout mixers, pumps, and silos for the heavy foundation and other construction industries.
We seek a Service Technician to join our small, yet mighty team to Provide in house and on-site technical support for customers, sales, and production team in the building of grout plants, automated grout systems, silos, high pressure pumps, data logging-monitoring systems and associated equipment. Work with production to manufacture new equipment, assist in the maintenance and refurbishing of the rental fleet.
In this role, you will:

Provide technical field support to customers either remotely or on-site.

Diagnosis and repair Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical and Pneumatic systems.

Assist the sales team in providing solutions for customer equipment requirements.
- Responsible for testing, recording and satisfactory sign-off of equipment ready to go into service or dispatch to customers.
- Assist engineering team with potential equipment design updates.

Responsible for on-site commissioning of new and or rental equipment.

Provide equipment training either in house or on-site.

Provide technical input for the compilation of operator/service manuals.

Must adhere to all company safety guidelines and customer safety requirements while onsite.

Support mechanical side of builds, as required.
- Other duties, as assigned to meet business and customer need.
We seek the following experience for this position:

High school diploma or equivalent, required.
-
Strong experience with electrical-mechanical systems, building and testing.
-
Understanding of instrumentation and automated control systems.
-
Proficient in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures.

Possess a problem-solving mentality and ability to work productively as part of a team
-
Must be computer literate and have a good grasp of Microsoft Office products such as Word/Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must possess and maintain of valid driver’s license void of insurability issues and in good standing.

Must be DOT medical card eligible
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
This position primarily works in a heavy manufacturing environment where the ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including exposure to heat and cold both inside and outside of the building, and loud noise.
- Must remain on feet in an upright position for continuous periods of time, may climb ladders and work in overhead areas.

Must be able to raise or lower objects up to 75lbs from one level to another, carry objects up to 50 lbs. and ability to crawl or move about on hands and knees.

Must have the ability to distinguish color, regularly grasp or reach and pick up objects, and repeated motions with wrists, hands, fingers.
- Walk distances in facility during course of work.

Employee to wear personal protective equipment such as, respirators, chemical suit, gloves, steel toe footwear, ear protection and a hard hat.
