TITLE- Service Technician
What you will do
-
Diagnose and rectify defects in PLC software within control panels, including uploading and downloading programs.

Perform service and upgrades on control panels, incorporating the latest versions of PLC software, HMI, controllers, I/O modules, analog modules, motor protection units, and control relay modules.

Troubleshoot and repair control panels, instrumentation, starters, and motors for AC plants and HVAC systems onboard ships.

Execute retrofit projects and commission control panels for AC plants and HVAC systems on marine vessels.

Execute Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for starters, control panels, instrumentation, and motors associated with AC and HVAC systems onboard ships.
How you will do it

Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings to troubleshoot AC and HVAC system panels.

Understand control philosophies and implement retrofits for panels.

Analyze operational data from onboard logbooks to identify and resolve defects.
What we look for
-
Education: Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.

Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience servicing HVAC and AC system panels onboard ships
Required
-
Proficiency in servicing HVAC and AC system panels on marine vessels.

Expertise in uploading/downloading PLC programs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Phoenix, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, control philosophies, and electrical schematics.

Strong understanding of AC plant and HVAC system operations.

Excellent communication skills in English for interaction with customers and internal teams.

Ability to prepare detailed service reports.

Willingness to travel extensively across Indian ports and occasionally to international locations at short notice.
Preferred
-
Working knowledge of PLCs, starter panels, and controllers for HVAC, AC, and fire systems.
