Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and dietary restrictions, to assist guests effectively

Qualifications

• Previous serving or host/hostess experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
• Proven ability in upselling menu items to boost sales while providing excellent customer service
• Experience working in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional guest services skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
