Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sever to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities will help create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Whether taking orders, serving food and beverages, or assisting guests with their needs, you will play a vital role in fostering guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting food safety protocols
  • Assist with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
  • Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently
  • Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
  • Previous host/hostess experience or serving background preferred
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
  • Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, upselling techniques, and guest services
  • Experience with restaurant management tools such as OpenTable is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
