Sever/ Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing food and beverage orders. This role requires a strong knowledge of food and drink menus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems, fine dining, and hospitality standards is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary and customer service skills while contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide attentive guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt and friendly interactions.
  • Upsell menu items to increase sales while maintaining professionalism.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar stations, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Follow all sanitation standards for food handling and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is advantageous.
  • Experience in serving or bartending roles with knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage service.
  • Strong skills in time management, upselling techniques, and guest relations are essential.
  • Background in food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and food handling standards is highly desirable.

Base Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
