Role Purpose

This is a hands-on sales role focused on directly managing the client experience from estimate to close. The Sales Representative is responsible for visiting clients on-site, diagnosing plumbing issues, presenting repair solutions, and closing deals. The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable in plumbing technologies, and skilled at building trust with homeowners.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess customer plumbing issues in person and explain all solution options in clear, simple terms
• Record a video walkthrough of the job site and surroundings with voiceover explaining the proposed solution
• Create job drawings or diagrams as part of the estimate when needed
• Prepare and send detailed email estimates including pictures and the video recording
• Present the estimate to the customer and attempt to close the deal during or shortly after the site visit
• Ask for the best date and time to follow up if the deal is not closed on the spot
• Update CRM and follow the internal follow-up board
• Call the customer on the selected follow-up date and close the deal
• Confirm the job start date with the Field Supervisor and communicate it to the client
• Ensure all project details are passed to the Dispatcher for scheduling
• Maintain strong knowledge of Almco’s trenchless and epoxy technologies and explain them confidently to customers
• Represent the Almco brand with professionalism, reliability, and courtesy at all times

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in direct B2C sales (preferably in plumbing, HVAC, construction, or home services)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — likable, trustworthy, and solution-oriented
• Ability to learn and explain technical services and repair options
• Comfort with taking on-site videos, drawing simple diagrams, and writing clear estimates
• Highly organized with follow-up discipline
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency with mobile tools and CRM platforms (ServiceTitan is a plus)
• Fluent English (Spanish is a bonus)

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

• Estimate-to-sale conversion rate (goal: 60–70%)
• Number of estimates presented per week
• Number of deals closed per month
• Follow-up task completion rate
• Customer satisfaction scores from sales process
• Total monthly revenue generated
