About the Position:

We are seeking skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operators to join our growing team. This role involves performing various sewing tasks using high-end industrial sewing machines, including sewing and finishing materials of different sizes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, open-minded, and eager to embrace new challenges and learn new techniques. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, but we are looking for someone with the flexibility to work overtime during peak demand periods.

Responsibilities:

• Operate various industrial sewing machines to finish and sew various materials.
• Seam materials together, hemming or attaching binding to edges, etc.
• Sew velcro or other accessories to products.
• Utilize various attachments to achieve desired finishes.
• Troubleshoot sewing machine issues as they arise.
• Operate a grommet machine

Skills & Qualifications:

• Comfortable reading a tape measure.
• Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for 8-10 hours.
• Able to withstand repetitive movements during a shift.
• Able to understand work order requirements.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.
• Responsible, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Sewing experience is required, industrial sewing is preferred.
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• Committed to achieving and maintaining quality and production standards.
• Willing to participate in and support any improvement activities.
• Pleasant and professional communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds regularly
• Regularly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (pulling, pushing, grabbing, pinching)
