Position: Sewing Machine Operator Trainer

Location: Dumka

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver theory and practical training for Sewing Machine Operator trade as per DDU-KK/ NSQF curriculum.
• Train candidates on industrial sewing machines, stitching techniques, garment construction, and finishing processes.
• Demonstrate and supervise safe machine operation and workplace safety practices.
• Maintain daily attendance, lesson plans, training progress, and assessment records.
• Prepare trainees for internal assessments, third-party assessments, and certification.
• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of sewing machines and tools.
• Support trainees in achieving productivity, quality standards, and industry readiness.
• Coordinate with Centre Manager, Placement, and MIS teams for reporting and compliance.
• Follow all DDU-KK SOPs, quality standards, and audit requirements.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• 10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma in Garment Technology, Fashion Design, or related trade.
• TOT certified (mandatory / preferred as per DDU-KK norms).
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in garment manufacturing or sewing operations.
• Hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines and production processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Hindi (local language knowledge preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong practical training and demonstration skills.
• Ability to guide and motivate rural youth.
• Knowledge of quality control, productivity, and basic garment costing.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
