SharePoint Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and organized SharePoint Administrator to manage and maintain the institute’s SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth document management, user access control, and proper organization of institutional files and workflows. The role focuses on maintaining a secure, structured, and efficient digital workspace for staff and departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the institute’s SharePoint sites and document libraries
  • Organize files, folders, and documents in a structured and accessible manner
  • Control user access, permissions, and sharing settings
  • Create and manage lists, libraries, and basic workflows
  • Ensure proper version control and document tracking
  • Maintain data accuracy and proper file organization across departments
  • Support staff in using SharePoint for daily operations
  • Regularly clean up outdated or duplicate files
  • Ensure secure handling of institutional data within SharePoint

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in SharePoint administration or similar role
  • Strong understanding of document management systems
  • Good organisational and file management skills
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities

Familiarity with tools such as:

  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft OneDrive
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft 365

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or related field
  • Experience working in educational institutes or large organizations
  • Basic understanding of workflow automation in SharePoint
  • Knowledge of data organization best practices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem
