SharePoint Developer

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer with solid expertise in SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and prior experience with SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET development, SharePoint Farm Architecture, Server-Side development, and integration with external systems such as Oracle, Appian, and BCRM.
This role requires the ability to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade SharePoint solutions, including custom components, APIs, timer jobs, event receivers, and modern SPFx solutions using React.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint-based applications and solutions across SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint 2019, and SharePoint Online.
Architect and configure SharePoint farms, including installation, patching, service applications, and performance tuning.
Develop custom WSP solutions, server-side code, web services, REST APIs, event receivers, timer jobs, and feature-based deployments
Work with .NET Framework / .NET Core to build and integrate business logic and backend systems.
Develop SPFx web parts, extensions, and custom UI components using React JS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Implement secure authentication and authorization models, including Windows Authentication, Forms-Based Authentication, and Anonymous Access.
Integrate SharePoint with external systems such as Oracle, Appian, BCRM, and other line-of-business applications.
Migrate content and solutions from SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online or other platforms such as Drupal.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, deployment, and administration.
Prepare technical documentation, performance optimization, and best practice enforcement.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience, with at least 4 years in SharePoint development.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Farm Architecture, including setup, configuration, and optimization.
Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core for server-side development.
Hands-on experience in developing SharePoint WSPs, Timer Jobs, Event Receivers, Web Services, and APIs.
Strong understanding of SharePoint authentication models (Windows, Forms-Based, Anonymous, and Hybrid).
Proven experience developing SPFx solutions with React JS, TypeScript, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Experience in SharePoint migrations—from on-premises to online and cross-platform migrations (e.g., to Drupal).
Proficient in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration and automation.
Good grasp of Agile/Scrum methodology and experience working in collaborative, iterative teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have / Nice to Have
Experience with SharePoint Designer workflows and InfoPath forms.
Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for extending SharePoint functionality.
Familiarity with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, App Service) and Microsoft Graph API integration.
Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular) is advantageous.
