Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately fabricate sheet metal parts.
• Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and install sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing sheet metal systems or structures to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic or similar role in manufacturing or construction environments.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, bending machines, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety standards related to sheet metal work and general construction practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and quality.
