Process Monitoring & Control
Safety & Reliability: Continuously monitor process parameters to guarantee safe operations and maintain product quality and reliability.
Malfunction Detection: Conduct active patrols of work areas, monitoring for warning signals and identifying potential malfunctions before they escalate.
Corrective Action: Execute immediate corrective actions in response to system warnings and operational deviations.
Specialized Operations: Manage facility start-up and shut-down procedures and operate backup systems (specific qualification required).
Plant Maintenance: Oversee the deriming of the plant to ensure maximum system efficiency (specific qualification required).
Routine Operations & Maintenance
Equipment Management: Perform periodic routine tasks, including the switch-over of filters, pumps, and general equipment cycles.
Planned Maintenance: Implement scheduled maintenance for equipment and systems according to provided job plans.
Data Tracking: Monitor predictive maintenance indicators and compile comprehensive records of tests, inspections, and calibration results.
Maintenance Isolation: Secure and isolate equipment from the process for scheduled on-line maintenance, coordinating with instrumentation and electrical technicians.
Safety, Security & Emergency Response
Plant Security: Maintain first-line security and safety protocols for the entire facility at all times.
Emergency Leadership: Act as the first responder, providing initial instructions to visitors and personnel during emergencies before management takes over.
Facility Protection: Secure the plant and control room during emergency situations and identify immediate security threats.
Safety Tools: Properly utilize PPE and portable environmental analyzers (gas detectors, etc.) to ensure a safe work environment.
Communication & Reporting
External Coordination: Coordinate operations and security matters with customer operating teams, network coordinators, and neighboring production facilities.
Communication Link: Serve as the primary point of contact for safety and security communications with external stakeholders.
Bachelor degree in Mechnical engineering
1 to 3 years experience in maintenance of rotating equipment
Advanced business English
Technical and working understanding of industrial gases
Knowledge of troubleshooting
Knowledge of the relevant maintenance domain is required (mechanical drawings)
Safety oriented
Basic knowledge in process control
Basic knowledge of smart maintenance, digital tools and/or data analysis is preferred
Technical competency in ASU operations, processes and related technology is desirable.
