Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and lead your team to provide an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the restaurant during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational standards.
- Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in cooking and food production as needed to support the kitchen team during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Conduct staff interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a strong team.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, scheduling, and overall restaurant performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is required; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and culinary techniques.
- Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in training & development of staff members is highly desirable.
- Background in hospitality management or food service management is advantageous.

Pay: $12.41 - $14.00 per hour
