Role Purpose:

The Shift Manager is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end warehouse operations during the assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day inbound (receipts, put-away) and outbound (picking, packing, dispatch) activities.
• Ensure on-time order fulfillment with accuracy.
• Monitor dock operations, loading/unloading, and shift schedules.
  
  
  

Manpower & Team Handling

• Allocate tasks to warehouse associates, supervisors, and operators.
• Ensure productivity targets are met during the shift.
• Train, guide, and motivate team members to maintain efficiency and discipline.
  
  
  

Inventory & Process Control

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Implement SOPs for material handling, storage, and movement.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  
  
  

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure safe working conditions and adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with warehouse policies, legal requirements, and customer SOPs.
