Shift Manager

· Schedule and organize the work and crew on their shift and cover the open shift with another employee in case of unavailability

· Adjust schedule of the staff to meet the restaurant needs

· Oversee training of all new employees on their shift on safety, policies, IHOP SOPs and procedures

· Resolve customer complaints, maintain product quality, and fix any other problems as they arise during the shift

· Maintain service excellence during the shift and report any issues or quality concerns to the manager

· Ensure cleanliness and safety of the restaurant during the shift

· Ensure all company policies, procedures, safety, and security procedure are followed in accordance to IHOP SOPs

· Ensure the staff is safe by keeping appropriate doors locked; back door and office

· Assist in ensuring that all personnel, equipment and supplies are prepared and ready to meet the needs of the business

· Inform all staff about new menu items, specials and promotional materials to ensure complete understanding of food preparation and service

· Assist in conducting orientation and training for new hires and give refresher training to current staff on regular basis

· Observe customer reactions to quality of food and service and report to the manager

· Review all time cards (or time reports) daily

· Check deliveries for proper quantity, quality, pricing, completeness of order, breakage and spoilage

· Perform administrative procedures such as:

ü Cash Receipts/Store Receipts

ü Be responsible for register reading and daily sales reports

ü Reconcile cash receipts and store bank funds

ü Make daily deposits and submit deposit slips to the finance department

ü Ensure availability of enough change and bills prior to peak hours of business

ü Enforce Company policy regarding check cashing

Any other task assigned by the line manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month

• Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
