Shift Night Pharmacist

The Shift Night Pharmacist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring their safe and appropriate use, and providing guidance to patients on proper medication usage. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, monitoring patient drug therapies, supervising pharmacy staff during overnight shifts, managing inventory, and addressing any medication-related inquiries. The role requires adherence to compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription review, and drug safety
• Proficiency in inventory management and pharmacy software systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling and collaboration with healthcare professionals
• Ability to work night shifts efficiently and maintain attention to detail under minimal supervision
• A valid license to practice pharmacy and a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field
• Problem-solving skills and a commitment to adhering to regulatory standards and ethical practices
• Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy environment is a plus
