Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a smooth logistics operation that supports our e-commerce initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory levels.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, manage orders, and maintain records.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners for loading, unloading, and moving products within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocking shelves to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a focus on shipping & receiving operations.
• Familiarity with e-commerce logistics is a plus.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and processing orders.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate counting and inventory management.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Experience with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing is essential.
• Knowledge of MRP systems is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
