About the Role
We are seeking a
Shipping & Receiving Manager
to oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations. This individual will lead daily dock activity, manage freight flow, ensure inventory accuracy, and drive efficient order fulfillment.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping Operations

Oversee all outbound shipments (parcel, LTL, FTL)

Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time

Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and logistics partners

Monitor and manage shipping costs
Receiving Operations
-
Manage inbound freight and vendor deliveries
-
Verify shipment accuracy and inspect for damage

Resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate system records

Oversee staging, labeling, and put-away processes
Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff
-
Assign daily workloads and monitor performance

Maintain accountability and productivity standards

Support hiring and onboarding
Inventory & Systems

Maintain inventory accuracy across all transactions

Support cycle counts and inventory audits

Utilize warehouse and shipping systems to track operations

Report on key performance metrics
Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures

Ensure safe use of warehouse equipment

Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
-Required
-
3+ years of shipping & receiving experience
-
1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
-
Knowledge of freight, parcel shipping, and dock operations
-
Experience with warehouse or shipping systems

Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment

Experience in high-volume distribution or fulfillment environments

Exposure to carrier/vendor coordination or cost management

Equipment certification (or willingness to obtain)
