Shipping Executive

Job Responsibilities1. Import Operations

• Receive import booking details from suppliers/customers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and provide approved agent details.
• Follow up on shipment schedules, shipping documents, and cargo status.
• Ensure timely coordination for customs clearance and delivery.

2. Export Operations

• Receive export booking requests from the sales team.
• Coordinate and ensure smooth shipment movement from the UAE to GCC countries.
• Ensure full compliance with GCC country-specific regulations, documentation, and shipping requirements.
• Coordinate with transporters, clearing agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor export shipment status and provide timely updates to relevant teams.

3. Documentation & Coordination

• Verify and maintain shipping documents including:
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
• Certificate of Origin
• Customs documents
• Maintain accurate shipment records and reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners for smooth operations.
• Prepare and share shipment summaries and reports with the team leader and management on weekly and monthly basis.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC import/export regulations and shipping requirements.
• Solid understanding of customs procedures and shipping documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and tight deadlines efficiently.

Experience Required

• 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations within the UAE.
• Must have handled both import and export shipments.
• Preference for candidates from a fashion retail background.

Additional Requirements

• Strong awareness of GCC shipping regulations and compliance requirements is mandatory.
• Immediate joiner preferred

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
