Position: Shipping & Receiving Team Member – 1st Shift (Tues–Sat)
Location: 6261 US 31 N, Williamsburg, MI 49690
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; Saturday 7:00am–2:30pm
Status: Full-time, non-exempt, on-site

About the Role
The Shipping & Receiving Team Member plays a key role in keeping our warehouse running smoothly. This role is responsible for receiving raw materials, shipping finished goods, completing inventory moves, and supporting a clean, safe work environment so our customers receive accurate, on-time orders.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, unload, and inspect inbound shipments of raw materials and finished goods.
- Verify counts and quality against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Move raw materials and finished goods to the correct warehouse or production locations.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers and perform general warehouse duties.
- Use a hi-lo and other material-handling equipment safely (training and certification provided).
- Enter basic inventory moves and transactions in the ERP system to support accurate inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or issues to the Shipping & Receiving Lead or Supervisor.
- Support cardboard and waste handling (e.g., filling compactors, moving bales) as directed.
- Perform cycle counts and other inventory tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment every shift.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards and report any concerns immediately.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills; ERP and shipping systems required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and support a positive team environment.
- Physically able to perform all aspects of the job (standing, lifting, bending, reaching).
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching above the head and below the waist.
- Occasional ladder use and occasional desk/computer work for system entries.
