Job Description

Shift: 1st
Schedule: 7 AM to 3 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00

Summary:
Shippers are responsible for maintaining the quality of material being shipped as well as the accuracy of the shipments. Employee will work individually and as a team to pull, stage, load, and unload shipments. This job will require the employee to work in all areas of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Staging for shipments
Accurately read Pick List, and adjusting inventory totals accordingly
Maintain accuracy of shipment paperwork, such as Load Sheet and Tier List
Loading & unloading trailers
Conduct quality checks to ensure product being shipped meets specifications
Maintain clean work area
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3+ years of forklift driving experience preferred (sit-down, propane, electric)
Routinely stands for long periods, climbs on and off forklifts, stands, reaches, pushes, and pulls materials in/out of trucks, and throughout the plant
Willingness to learn
Strong problem-solving skills
Capable of training new employees
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent attendance record
Availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to repetitively pull, lift and stack rolls of product, that can be up to 5’ tall, and weigh up to 40lbs
Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time
