Shipping Specialist

Where we need you

2nd shift 3pm-11pm Mon-Fri and weekends when needed

• Plan trailers / containers according to daily requirements / maximum capacity
• Create and close out load lists in SAP for all customer
• Create manual shipping document
• Get quotes from carrier
• Maintain customer- and trucking portals in the web
• Monitor due date
• Communicate with production planers, carriers, material handlers, supervisor, warehouse manager
• Scan and file shipping document
• Other office dutie s

• Computer knowledge
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Good communication ski
• Willing to work variable office hours, also weekends if necessary
• SAP and customs knowledge preferable

Education Requirement

• High School Diploma or equivalent
