Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving processes, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting e-commerce and distribution activities.

Duties

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, inspecting, and documenting deliveries
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy using order pickers and packing materials
• Stock shelves and organize inventory using proper stocking techniques
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels
• Assist with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing for e-commerce orders
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during all warehouse activities
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
• Use basic math skills for inventory calculations, measurements, and documentation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or distribution is preferred
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar platforms
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners required; certification preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order accuracy
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and standing for extended periods
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing
• Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
