Role Overview
The Shipping/Receiving Lead oversees daily operations of the Shipping and Receiving
Department, setting goals, managing workflow, and ensuring deadlines align with company
objectives. This role includes monitoring employee performance, providing coaching and
feedback, and ensuring compliance with company policies and laws. The Lead also acts
as a liaison between staff and upper management, with a strong focus on employee
development and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and assists shipping and receiving duties to department employees on multiple
shifts -
Daily Environmental Inspection of Phase 3, Phase 4 and Staging areas, to ensure
areas are compliant -
Ensuring accuracy of all material inbound / outbound per our permit requirements

Complete monthly inventory
-
Complete material movement forms
-
Coordinate product movement within facilities
-
Tag and label product
-
Daily product inspection
-
Creating packing list for outbound shipments
-
Create BOL’s
-
Manage inventory to insurance outbound product
-
Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations
-
Knowledge of the contents and execution of the Facility Contingency Plan Proper
cleanup of spills and be able to, at least verbally, demonstrate the proper cleanup
of a spill -
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member

Forklift experience
