As the Shop Floor Operations Lead, you align people, processes, and parts—keeping CNC and milling operations on spec, on time, and OSHA-compliant. You champion training, quality checks, and a clean workspace, while maintaining the materials pipeline and supporting off-shift continuity.

Convert the production plan into clear priorities and keep work moving.

Schedule and coordinate daily activities; track output to stay on schedule.

Participate in hiring and selection to strengthen the production team.

Hold operators to quality standards through consistent, standardized checks.

Manage training and cross-training programs; conduct regular check-ins to adjust learning paths.

Establish performance expectations, observe results, provide structured feedback and appraisals, and administer discipline when warranted.

Assist with scheduled safety inspections to uphold OSHA compliance.

Promote a spotless, organized shop environment.

Maintain inventory levels for raw materials, production supplies, packaging, and finished goods.

Extend leadership to off-shift production to ensure continuity and control.

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

3+ years of supervisory experience.

Proven track record in fast-paced manufacturing (required).

Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, engineering, or related field (preferred).

Foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes, QMS, and production principles.

Experience with CNC and milling operations.

Microsoft applications proficiency.

ERP system knowledge.
